Traditional Junk Cruise 3 days
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay Traditional Junk Cruise (L, D)
We depart from the capital at 8:30 am for Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short break. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we will be transferred to our luxury junk, Bai Tho Junk Once we have settled in we can begin our cruise around majestic Ha Long Bay accompanied by a delicious lunch. After lunch we have the chance to explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the bay. Then our captain will find a secluded spot where we can swim in the clear water of the bay, soak up the sun on the top deck or try our hand at some kayaking. After we have finished exploring for the day we retire to the junk. We can relax on the top deck using the sun-tanning area or enjoy a refreshing drink from the bar. In the evening our cook will prepare a splendid meal comprised of fresh seafood dishes as well as traditional Vietnamese fare as we weigh anchor in the heart of the bay. For those that are interested there is the opportunity to do a spot of night fishing from the boat. Overnight on junk.
Day 2 Halong – Bai Tu Long Bay Junk Cuise (B, L, D)
Rising to the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. This morning we continue to move around the bay to find more secluded areas. We take a rowing sampant to visit tunnel cave – green lagoon. Then we come back our junk, free at leisure for swimming. At 10h: 00 we continue the wonderful cruise to admire the Tortoise Island, Man’s head island, floating villages and fish farm. After enjoying our 4 course fresh seafood lunch at 12h: 30, we visit Drum cave, have a swim at three peach beach. Then free leisure for fishing and drinking untill we have dinner. Overnight on junk.
Day 3 Halong Junk Cruise (B)
Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day we breakfast over sunset. Today we once more set sail of the Junk boat through breathtaking secluded Halong bay, pass by Bai Tu Long bay, Teapot Island, Chopstick Island and Bai Tho Mountain. On the route return to Halong city we enjoy our lunch on board. Then we disembark from the junk. On the pier our private and comfortable car is waiting to take us back to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel. Services end.
