Mekong River Tour 3 days
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long – Can Tho (L)
This morning, pick up at your hotel then heading out of the bustling city, we ride along rice field to My Tho, one of Mekong Delta province. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which passing My Tho fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canal and along the Tien river. The exciting cruise continue to Unicorn island, here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed by the islanders. Having lunch at a typical country garden house.
In the afternoon, we continue to visit the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre province
Then transfer to Can Tho City for overnight.
Day 2: Can Tho – Phong Dien – Thot Not – Chau Doc (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel then cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat, we will see the Cai Rang -Phong Dien floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily life in Mekong River and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. We now travel by land to Chau Doc, on the way we will pass Thot Not to visit Bang Lang Bird Sanctuary (Stork Garden) or Crocodile Farm. On arrival at Chau Doc, visit the Sam mountain to enjoy the a breath-taking view and enjoy the sunset on the top of Sam Mountain. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 3: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
A boat trip to visit the floating fish breeding farms reveals the amazing highlight of Chau Doc, a Cham minority village, whom still again employment from traditional weaving. The last stop in Chau Doc is to a local Islamic Mosque. Have lunch at local restaurant before going back to Sai Gon. Drop off at your hotel. End of our services.
