Le Bassac boat cruise 3 days 2 night
Day 1: Sai Gon – My Tho/ Mekong Cruise on Le Bassac Boat (L,D)
Our private car/ van will pick up at your hotel at 08:00am, then depart for Can Tho.
Boarding at noon at My Tho. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew.
Quiet lunch between My Tho and the Ben Tre islands.
Rendez-vous with a local boat for a visit of the Ben Tre islands: rowing through the arroyos shaded with water coconut trees, on a horsecart through to a honey farm where you will taste the local production.
Boarding back before dusk, welcome drink, then departure towards Cai Be.
Dinner is served en route.
The bar is open, and the upper deck welcomes you for a cool evening.
The Bassac drops anchor for the night. Overnight on board.
Day 2: Mekong Cruise on Le Bassac – Ben Tre
Breakfast is available from 6:30 in the morning.
Mid-morning, transfer to a local boat for an extensive visit of Cai Be: the floating market, local pop-rice and sweets production.
Visit of old colonial time buildings onshore.
Boarding back at noon, with a welcome-back drink.
Departure from Cai Be to Binh Hoa Phuoc Island while lunch is served on board.
Transfer onto a local boat for a visit of the gardens and orchards on the bank of the peninsula.
Back on board, a refreshment awaits you.
Dinner is served as the Bassac gets under way towards the My Thuan bridge then towards Sa Dec.
The Bassac drops anchor at the entry of Sa Dec for the night. Overnight on board.
Day 3: Ben Tre – Sai Gon
Breakfast is available from 6:30.
Check-out and transfer for a visit of the town of Sa Dec, following the tracks of French novelist Marguerite Duras.
Disembarkment at Sa Dec.
Then, you will be picked up by private car/ van on shore at Cai Be at mid morning, drive back to Sai Gon. Drop off at your hotel. End of our services.
